Hajimemashite! (Hello)

My name is Kortney and I travel around the pacific northwest looking for the best ramen shops. Occasionally, I travel elsewhere and make a point to find the best shops that city has to offer.

My Ramen journey began in 2021 when I discovered what “real” ramen really was. Up until then, I was the average consumer of packaged ramen.

My interest in Japanese culture began in 2019 with the introduction to anime. Since then I have built a foundation of knowledge and even been studying the language for 2+ years.

Sadly, and a bit ironically, I have never been to Japan. I hope to journey there someday soon and eat all of the ramen Tokyo has to offer!

I started this blog mostly as a hobby but also to share the joy of Ramen!
